SEMI & NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE / STEEL STRUCTURES Concrete Cover Thickness Test
In assessing the thickness of concrete cover of any existing structural concrete members, Civiltec Testing Services can carry out concrete cover thickness test (Covermeter testing), to measure the distance of steel reinforcing bars beneath the surface of the concrete and possibly to measure the diameter of the reinforcing bars.
If required by the Client, semi-destructive testing can also be conducted by hacking a specified dimension of concrete area to ascertain the results obtained from the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). All results will be systematically recorded and compiled before any submissions to our clients.
