Geophysical Survey Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW)

MASW evaluates ground stiffness by measuring shear-wave velocity (Vs) of subsurface in 1D, 2D, and 3D for various types of geotechnical engineering projects in the most common depth range of 0-30 meters.  The purpose of this investigation is to determine the general sub-soil distribution at the project site using geophysical method that uses the surface wave technique. From the distribution of the surface wave velocity, and co-relation to empirical relationships between SPT N-value and S-Wave velocity, the estimated SPT N-value distribution could be estimated.
